Businesses from across the borough are invited to the next Tewkesbury Borough Business Voice Network (TBBVN) breakfast event, on Thursday, 24 September, from 7.30am to 9.30am.

Hosted at the newly purpose-built Bishop’s Cleeve Care Home, the free event will focus on creating healthier, happier, and more productive workplaces, with insights from the care sector. The morning will explore practical approaches to supporting wellbeing, developing positive workplace cultures, and helping people perform at their best.

Attendees will hear from Kirsty Peplow, Manager of Bishop’s Cleeve Care Home, who will talk about the home’s focus on care and wellbeing.

Guest speaker Tom Bryan, founder of WellARC, will explore how businesses can build healthier workplace cultures, helping managers and teams to identify concerns early, have supportive conversations and access the right support.

Jim Jones from Passion First Aid will be on hand to offer demonstrations and attendees will also hear from Vicki Hawker, Managing Director, at Daffodil Support Services.

Councillor Richard Stanley, Leader and Lead Member for Economic Development, said: “Our Business Voice Network events are all about bringing businesses together to share ideas, make new connections and learn from one another.

“This month, we have a fantastic opportunity to look at what businesses across every sector can learn from the care sector – particularly when it comes to putting people, wellbeing, and positive workplace cultures at the heart of success.

“The care sector has a huge amount to teach us about supporting people, building strong teams, and creating environments where people can thrive. These are lessons that apply to every organisation, whatever its size or sector. I’m looking forward to hearing those insights, sharing ideas, and seeing businesses from across the borough take inspiration from them.”

Breakfast refreshments are provided and attendance is free, but advance booking is required as spaces are limited and previous events have filled up quickly. To book, attendees are asked to use the Eventbrite link.
