Grants for upper floors
Grants of up to 50% of the cost of works are available to encourage the occupiers and owners of business premises to bring vacant upper floors back in to use as flats and maisonettes.
Some properties which may be suitable are shown on the schedule of approved properties, but because access was limited at the time the survey was carried out, there may be other properties which are suitable.
If you believe that your property is suitable and it was built before 1950, but does not appear on the list, then please use the Expression of Interest form to register your interest and we will contact you to arrange a site visit.
The shopfront and upper floors grant scheme closed to new applicants on 1st September 2023.
