The system that delivers housing benefits and discretionary housing payments has been returned safely and securely.
We are now processing all documents in date order. There may be a delay in processing applications or changes in circumstances while we recover from this incident.

Following the recent cyber incident benefits are currently in the recovery phase. The next 4 weekly Housing Benefit payment will be made on Monday, 14 October 2024.

Council Tax and Business Rate direct debits are being collected as normal, on the 5th or 20th of the month, depending on your payment due date, as shown on your latest bill. If your payment date falls on a weekend or bank holiday, your direct debit will be collected on the next working day.
Please check the last paper bill you received for any amendment. If you have signed up for paperless billing please contact us on 01684 295010. Contact your bank if you have any further concerns.

Citizen Access for Council Tax and Business Rates is currently unavailable.
