Community groups in Gotherington are being asked to express an interest in funds that could make a real difference to their local facilities.
Gotherington has seen a number of new homes introduced recently and Tewkesbury Borough Council has collected contributions from the developers to invest back into local community projects.
Community groups can now express an interest in this fund. Expressions of interest will need to highlight that a need in the community has arisen as a direct result of the new housing development.
The closing date for expressions of interest is 31 March 2022.
Councillor Clare Softley, lead member for communities, said: “Over £160,000 has been put aside towards sports and play facilities in the Gotherington area. We would love to hear from local groups who are able to demonstrate how they can meet the needs of the community who have moved, or will move, into, these areas.”
