General waste and recycling collections are resuming today (Thursday, 15 December).
Please bear with us though – many roads are still very icy.
Our collection crews will try to reach today’s scheduled properties and make a start on those that were missed earlier this week.

If our collection crews don’t get to you today, please leave your refuse or recycling bins out and they’ll try to catch up with missed collections as soon as possible.

Crews will be working on both Saturday and Sunday to catch up – so leave your bins out over the weekend if they’re not collected sooner.

Missed food caddy collections for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be caught up on their usual collection days next week.

Unfortunately, the garden waste service will be suspended this week to allow our crews time to complete the catch-up. Side waste will be accepted when the service resumes. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Side waste will be accepted:

Green bin: up to two black bin bags of refuse side waste will be collected

Blue bin: recycling side waste should be placed in a cardboard box next to your blue bin. If you don’t have a box available, place it in an untied carrier bag (please do not tie the bag because the crews need to check the contents).
