Home owners across the Tewkesbury Borough

The Low Carbon Communities Project* which is providing opportunities for homeowners in Tewkesbury Borough to receive technical support and advice about energy efficiency and home retrofit is now closed to new registrations.

This is due to high demand for the service provided by Severn Wye Energy Agency, which has a limited number of places.

However a similar programme covering all of Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire has been launched by Severn Wye Energy Agency and is now taking registrations.

Through this programme, Severn Wye’s retrofit experts will provide in-person, impartial advice and support to qualifying householders who are ready to make energy efficiency improvements but don’t know where to start.

Applications are now open on the Severn Wye website

Successful applicants will receive a home energy advice report and energy efficiency action plan from a Severn Wye home energy specialist, all of which would normally cost more than £500. Following the home assessment, ongoing support will be available to help homeowners turn their action plan into reality, including help accessing funding towards installations if they are eligible.

*The Low Carbon Communities Project is receiving funding from the UK government and Powered by Levelling Up.
