As Covid restrictions ease across England, Tewkesbury Borough Council will be reopening its doors to the public from Monday, 19 July 2021.

Although visitors to the Public Services Centre are now welcome, the council is still urging customers to do as much as possible online and, to help maintain a safe environment within the building, the council is also encouraging anyone who needs a face-to-face meeting to book an appointment in advance by calling 01684 295010.

The Public Services Centre on Gloucester Road in Tewkesbury has been closed to all but skeleton staff since the first Covid-19 lockdown back in March 2020, with most of the council’s workforce required to work from home.

Councillor Mike Dean, Lead Member for Customer Focus, said: “We look forward to welcoming our customers back to the Public Services Centre and can reassure visitors that Covid-safety procedures will remain in place for the near future. As always, the safest and most efficient way to interact with the council is online through tewkesbury.gov.uk, but for anyone needing a face-to-face meeting, please help our officers maintain a safe environment by booking ahead.”

Anyone wishing to make an appointment should call the council’s customer services team on 01684 295010.
