Important safety reminders
- Never drive through floodwater – you can’t always see what’s under the floodwater and you may cause additional damage to homes, businesses, and your vehicle.
- Keep children away from floodwater – it’s unsafe and unpredictable.
- If you notice leaves collecting around gullies near your home, please clear them where it’s safe to do so. Keeping gullies clear helps water drain away and reduces the risk of flooding.
