Joint core strategy (JCS)
The joint core strategy (JCS) is a partnership between Gloucester City Council, Cheltenham Borough Council and Tewkesbury Borough Council, which sets out a strategic planning framework for the three areas. The JCS was adopted by all three councils in December 2017 and is now undergoing a review.

Tewkesbury borough plan adoption
The Tewkesbury borough plan 2011-2031 was adopted on 8 June 2022 at a special meeting of the Council. The adoption statement can be viewed below.

The Tewkesbury borough plan 2011 – 2031 now forms part of the development plan for Tewkesbury borough. It replaces the saved policies of the Tewkesbury borough local plan to 2011.
