Lettings scheme for Letting Agents, Landlords & Tenants
With different options and benefits available, Tewkesbury Borough Council want to work more closely with private landlords and letting agents, to increase the number of affordable, sustained private tenancies in our area.
We aim to broaden options and solutions for prospective tenants, whilst offering a range of support and incentives for landlords and letting agents, to encourage local engagement with the scheme.
Especially welcome would be those who:
- Are experienced Letting Agents in the Tewkesbury Borough area
- As an agent or landlord believe a hand-up is better than a hand-out
- You own an empty property
- Have property in need of uplift or renovation
- Are thinking of becoming a landlord
- Have concerns about housing tenants with low incomes or minimal search criteria etc.
Menu of options available:
- FREE scheme for letting agents / landlords / applicants
- £100 agent finder’s fee per successful sign up (valid for 6 months from starting work with the scheme)
- Deposit paid in full
- Rent in advance funding options available (terms and conditions apply)
- Accompanied viewings and property inspections
- Designated support for agents and landlords
