Tewkesbury Borough Council housing and homelessness strategy 2022-26
Our housing strategy for 2021-2022 and it sets out our vision and plans for housing and homelessness in the borough.
We know how important it is for residents to be able to access good quality housing and housing related services that make a real difference to their lives.
The following key themes for the Strategy have been have shaped through consultation with our partners and stakeholders:
- Increasing the supply of new homes – with particular focus on increasing the number of affordable homes.
- Regenerating and making best use of existing stock.
- Meeting the needs of homeless households and others with specific housing and support needs.
Gloucestershire Local Housing Needs Assessment 2019
Completed in 2019 and published in 2020, the Gloucestershire Local Housing Needs Assessment (LHNA or ‘Lorna’) informs the Housing Strategy.
