Section 106 expression of interest

Background

Under Section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, contributions can be sought from developers to provide and/or improve community and social infrastructure. This only applies where the need has arisen as a direct result of a new development taking place.

For a range of reasons the terms upon which some financial contributions can be spent are not sufficiently specific. In these cases the council is asking for expression of interests on how these section 106 funds can be allocated and spent.

Please find below details of S106 sums that are currently available for community and sport facility capital projects.
