Tewkesbury Borough Council has awarded four grants to community organisations through funding from the Coronation Living Heritage Fund to plant or extend four community orchards. Two new orchards will be planted in Northway and Highnam, and two orchards will be extended in Bishops Cleeve and Longford.

A total of £23,620 was made available for new or enlarged community orchards in Tewkesbury Borough. The funding celebrates the coronation of King Charles III and supports local tree planting projects across Tewkesbury Borough.

After this successful initial phase of the project, Tewkesbury Borough Council is pleased to re-open the grant scheme to enable further orchards to be planted across the borough.
