Prosperity Fund business grant scheme opens in Tewkesbury Borough
Rural businesses across Tewkesbury Borough are being encouraged to apply for capital grants under the Rural England Prosperity Fund (REPF) business grant scheme supported by the UK government’s Shared Prosperity Fund.
With up to £60,000 in total funding available for 2025-26, eligible businesses can apply for grants ranging from £3,000 to £20,000 to help strengthen the local rural economy and enhance productivity.
Funding will focus on small scale investment in micro and small enterprises located in rural areas. Projects may include:
- Net-zero infrastructure projects that reduce carbon emissions
- Diversification initiatives for farm businesses beyond agriculture
Councillor Richard Stanley, Leader of Tewkesbury Borough Council, said: “We have seen with previous rounds of these grants how this type of funding can significantly help rural businesses to grow, improve, and diversify their commercial offering.
“Capital funding provides an opportunity for businesses to improve their productivity through innovation, energy-efficient and low carbon technologies, and to create and safeguard jobs. I encourage businesses who are interested in these grants to get in touch with our team to see if these grants can help your business thrive.”
Applications close at 9am on Monday, 15 September 2025.
All enquiries and applications should be directed to the UKSPF REPF grant team at: UKSPF@tewkesbury.gov.uk
