Proposal of a no entry restriction on the junction of Cheltenham Road East/Pirton Lane

To facilitate the improvements to the pedestrian and cycle facilities along the B4063 between Gloucester and Cheltenham, Gloucestershire County Council is proposing to implement a no entry restriction on the junction of Cheltenham Road East/Pirton Lane to provide a new off-carriageway bus stop.
This will replace the current bus stop positioned on the main carriageway outside the Esso garage, and will enable the free flow of traffic while maintaining a safe place for the public to wait for a bus.
