Representatives from Alderman Knight School and SARA-Tewkesbury attended the ceremony and expressed their gratitude for the support.
Clare Steel, Head Teacher of Alderman Knight School said: “We are incredibly grateful for this generous contribution. This funding will help us to continue to extend and develop our outdoor learning areas, provide additional opportunities to enrich the curriculum and will make a real difference to the students we support.”
Dave Allen, volunteer at SARA said: “We are extremely grateful to the former Mayor of Tewkesbury Borough for this generous donation. As a volunteer rescue organisation, we rely entirely on public support to maintain our equipment, train our crews and respond to emergencies across Tewkesbury and the wider Severn area. This funding will directly support the replacement of one of our vehicles. We truly appreciate the recognition of our work and the difference it will make to our team.”
