Updated: Friday, 16 February

Further rainfall is predicted over the weekend (17 and 18 February), and two flood warnings are in place across Tewkesbury Borough.

We will be carrying out welfare checks on residents in communities that are likely to be affected over the weekend to make sure residents are supported and have what they need in case they are cut off.

Filled sandbags have been made available at the following locations and stocks will be replenished as required:

• Gloucester Road Car Park, Tewkesbury
• Longford Village Hall (there are large bags of sand with empty sandbags available at this location)
• Tirley Village Hall
• King John’s Bridge, Tewkesbury
• Swilgate, Tewkesbury
• The Canterbury, Tewkesbury
• Haw Bridge, on the verge near the layby by the old pub building.
