Residents concerned about managing their household bills and outgoings are encouraged to attend Tewkesbury Borough Council’s community support and advice event to discover what help is available to them.
The free event will be held at Trinity Church in Tewkesbury town centre on Wednesday, 30 November from 10am to 12 noon.
The event will provide guidance to residents on managing rising costs, and offer advice on:
-
Household bills and keeping well over the winter months
-
Benefits and childcare support
-
Money and debt management
-
Feeding a family on a budget
-
Staying active on a budget
Tewkesbury Borough Council’s support member for communities, Councillor Richard Smith, said: “Rising energy costs and food bill are increasing the pressure on household incomes up and down the country, and Tewkesbury Borough is no exception.
“I advise anyone who is worried about managing their finances this winter to come along to the event where they will find a range of practical help and advice.”
