Members’ allowances
Local authorities can pay their elected members an allowance and expenses in respect of the duties they undertake.
The detailed members’ allowances scheme is contained within the council’s constitution. The existing scheme was adopted from 1 April 2023 and will run for one year.
An independent remuneration panel advises the Council on the allowances to be paid and its report can be found at minutes.tewkesbury.gov.uk.
