£160k grant funding available for Tewkesbury Borough rural businesses
Businesses across rural areas of Tewkesbury Borough are invited to apply for round two of a business grant scheme. A total of £160,000 grant funding from the Rural England Prosperity Fund is available to improve productivity and strengthen the rural economy and rural communities. This grant scheme is capital funding only.
Tewkesbury Borough Council will consider applications from eligible rural businesses for grants from £3,000 up to £24,999.
Applications will need to focus on small scale investment in micro and small enterprises in rural areas. This includes capital funding for net zero infrastructure for rural businesses, and diversification of farm businesses outside of agriculture.
Applications are now open and close at 9am on Monday, 22 July 2024.
Chris Ashman, Executive Director of Place, said: “Rural businesses in our borough have a great opportunity to benefit from this funding, helping them to grow, improve and diversify their commercial offering. Businesses have already been successful in applying in round one, and we want to encourage more businesses to submit applications while this funding is available.”
