Rural England Prosperity Fund

The borough has been identified by DEFRA as an area eligible for the Rural England Prosperity Fund (REPF) and awarded capital funding that will be available until March 2025.

The REPF Scheme aims to improve productivity and strengthen the rural economy and rural communities.

Over the next two years, we will be distributing funding across eligible areas of our borough, into projects with beneficial outcomes for local businesses.

This page explains how to apply for the Rural England Prosperity Fund Business Grant Scheme, including guidance notes and an application form.

The scheme is being administered for the council by GRCC (Gloucestershire Rural Community Council).

Tewkesbury Borough Rural England Prosperity Fund

The following Business Grant Scheme is capital funding only, developed in compliance with the REPF guidance (Rural England Prosperity Fund prospectus) and local rural business need.

This funding is split over a two year period for small scale investment in micro and small enterprises in rural areas, as follows:

Year one funding November 2023 – March 2024 £40,000.00
Year two funding April 2024 – March 2025 £160,000.00

The year one grant application window is now open.

Business grant applications

Once you have read through the scheme guidance, please send your completed application to info@grcc.org.uk, accompanied by the supporting documentation requested within the form.

Applications must be submitted by 9am on Monday, 11 December 2023.

Please note, any applications received after the deadline of 9am on Monday, 11 December 2023 will not be considered.
