Welcome to the Tewkesbury Garden Town programme webpages.

This area is currently being developed following our decision to develop a new approach to the delivery of the garden town.

The new approach – with a commitment to increased community engagement, and improved collaboration with partners and developers – was voted in at Full Council in July 2023.

The decision followed a gateway review of the programme, which was undertaken earlier in 2023. The review found no fundamental concerns with the aims or the principles of the garden town itself, but it made a number of hard-hitting recommendations to enhance the programme’s delivery, particularly regarding community engagement and collaboration with partners and other stakeholders.

This site will be live soon, and will provide a range of useful information and background to the garden town programme, as well as details on engagement sessions.
